Out of Scope & Known Issues
Out of scope topics
The agent cannot provide answers for the following topics, as it does not have access to the relevant data:
- Querying for any non‑SMDI, non‑PubChem data.
- Asking for computed values not in SMDI (Orbital, FEP, EPIK).
- gProbe data (will be added in Q2 / early Q3).
- Human dose projection.
- Chemical series (e.g. SAR analysis).
- Complex statistical analyses.
- Business categorization (i.e. classifications of clearance).
- Data visualization beyond simple tables and 2D chemical visualization.
- Searching based on categories that are too general (e.g. cyclic peptides, degraders, glues).
- Prospective model assessment (see the SMDD AI dashboard instead).
- SMDI “Compound Dashboard” data, aka the SMDI “Compound Submission & Registration” page — it contains some analytical and purification data that is not stored in SMDI and is not accessible in the agent.
For prospective model assessment, use the SMDD AI dashboard instead of the Research Agent.
